About Flownato
What is Flownato?
A library of real mobile app flows. Follow a task screen by screen, in order, and see the steps, prompts and choices along the way, not just one screen.
Who is it for?
Designers, product managers and developers who want to see how real apps handle onboarding, sign-in, search, checkout or booking before they design their own.
Which apps are in the library?
Popular Android apps from many categories. Browse the current list on the Apps page.
What makes Flownato different?
It is built around flows. Instead of single screens, you follow a task from screen to screen and see the steps, prompts and choices in between. A free account opens complete flows, and the same library works inside Claude and Cursor.
How is Flownato different from Mobbin or Refero?
Flownato focuses on Android app flows and opens complete flows on a free account. Mobbin and Refero focus on websites and iOS apps and keep flows for their paid plans. See Flownato vs Mobbin and Flownato vs Refero.
Using the library
What is the difference between a flow, a screen and a pattern?
A flow is one task in one app. A screen is one step in a flow. Patterns group similar screens and UI elements from different apps.
How do I see the same task in different apps?
Open a task under Flows, such as onboarding or logging in. Each task page shows how different apps handle it.
Can I search the text inside screens?
Yes. Search covers apps, flows, screens and UI elements, and it can match the words shown on a screen.
Can I save screens and flows?
Yes, once you sign in. Saved apps, flows and screens go to Your Library.
Can I use the screens in Figma?
Yes. Choose Add to Figma on a screen or a flow, copy the transfer code, and paste it into the Flownato plugin in Figma. Screens arrive as images, ordered and labelled in your Figma file.
Pricing and plans
Is Flownato free?
Yes. Sign in with Google to open up to three selected complete flows per app, the patterns in them, and the first three steps of every other flow. The free account does not expire.
How much does Premium cost?
$5 a month, or $50 a year. See the pricing page.
What does Premium add?
Every screen in every flow, the full walkthrough videos, and Ask Flownato without a daily limit.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel from Account, then Membership. Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for. The refund and cancellation policy has the details.
Claude, Cursor and Ask Flownato
Does Flownato work with Claude and Cursor?
Yes. Connect the Flownato MCP server and Claude, Cursor or another MCP client can search flows and screens and link back to them.
Do I need Premium for the MCP server?
No. Every MCP tool works on a free account. Premium opens every screen.
What is Ask Flownato?
Ask a question in plain words and get an answer that links to real screens. A free account gets 5 questions a day; Premium has no daily limit.
UX terms
What is a user flow?
The steps a person takes to finish one task in a product, such as signing up or paying. A whole flow shows what a single screen hides: where the app asks for permissions, or how many steps checkout takes.
What is an onboarding flow?
The first screens after someone opens a new app: sign-up, permissions, preferences and any intro. See onboarding in real apps.
What is a UI pattern?
A familiar way to solve a design problem, such as a bottom sheet for options or a stepper for quantity. Browse examples under UI elements.
