Compare Onboarding UX flows

Compare captured onboarding UX flows across apps, side by side. Preview the interfaces and follow each available sequence.

  1. AJIO: Onboarding

First use of the AJIO app end to end: the branded splash, closing the notification opt-in promo, choosing the AJIO storefront, declining the optional network-access request, then signing in from the Account tab with a phone number stored on the device. The app offers the device number through the system picker, prefills it on its own Login or Signup screen and completes verification by itself, with no code to type and without the Continue button being pressed. The journey ends on a settled signed-in Home carrying the account's own profile and bag state. The landing account hub already holds a saved name, email, orders, wallet and cards, so the evidence shows an existing account being resumed; creating a brand-new remote account was not proved here.

  2. BookMyShow: Onboarding

From the first-use welcome screen, sign in with a device Google account, decline location auto-detection, choose Mumbai and keep all its areas, answer the notification prompt, and land on a usable signed-in home screen.

  3. Inshorts: Onboarding

From the branded launch screen a new reader picks English as the reading language, declines notifications, opens the profile tab, signs in with a Google account already on the device and returns to a readable signed-in news feed.

  4. Meesho: Onboarding

Open the shopping app for the first time, dismiss the notification permission prompt, and create an account from the Account tab using a mobile number. The device offers a saved number, which is declined so the number can be typed directly; after submitting it the app sends a verification code and completes it by reading the incoming text message itself, so no code is typed on screen. The account then opens, the required profile details (name and email) are filled in and saved with an on-screen success confirmation, and the journey ends on the signed-in home feed showing the saved name.

  5. Nykaa: Onboarding

From the branded launch screen the app opens its Login or Signup welcome sheet; sign-in uses a Google account already on the device, both optional device permissions (notifications, then location) are declined, the first-use welcome offer is closed and a usable signed-in shopping home is reached. The app never displayed whether this created a new account or resumed an existing one.

  6. Pocket FM: Onboarding

From a clean launch the branded Pocket FM splash progresses automatically to the welcome screen, where the only offered sign-in method is a phone number and is skipped, so setup continues without an account. Gender, age and terms consent are then submitted and three story interests are chosen. The app opens its own home shell, but the recommendation feed was still loading when the capture ended, so a settled home was never observed and no account was created.

  7. Purplle: Onboarding

First use of the Purplle beauty store, from its branded opening screen to a usable personalised storefront. The app moves off the splash by itself and raises the device access prompts: location is granted only while using the app and notifications are declined. The store then raises its own 'Login or Signup' sheet. A mobile number is typed into the store's field instead of reusing the device's saved number; the store confirms the code was sent and captures the SMS code itself - no code was typed and Verify was never pressed, so the recording does not prove whether this created a new account or signed in to an existing one. The mandatory 'Tell us more about yourself' form then requires name, email, date of birth and gender; the date field is picker-only and must be set through the calendar's year list. Save & Continue lands on the store home with the app's own 'User Details Updated' confirmation.
